ANGEL APPEARS AS BALL OF LIGHT

Please, please answer my letter as the other day my wife and I experienced something so strange that it has left us both perplexed. In the early hours of Saturday morning we were both unable to sleep as we were worried about my mother who was seriously ill in hospital.

My wife and I lay together in bed looking out at the starlit sky. Suddenly a brilliant ball of light, about the size of a tennis ball, hovered outside our window and illuminated the room. It was not car lights passing by or anything like we've ever seen. It was a brilliant ball of light.

I noted the time: 1.30 am. On Sunday morning I received a call from the hospital. Mother had died at 1.30 that night. My wife and I are frightened by what we saw. Can you offer an explanation?

As I've mentioned before in this column my wife Jane and I witnessed the most incredible ball of light materialise in our room. At the time of our sighting there were no immanent deaths in the family. Some nurses say that they see balls of light rise above their terminally ill patients as they die.

Although I cannot prove what I say, I believe that these brilliant balls of light are a sign that angelic beings are with us. You should draw comfort from your experience.
