My late husband worked in the heavy steel industry and I worked as a secretary. Whether I fell asleep or my mind drifted into a day dream, I don't know, but I 'saw' my husband being killed at work. I 'saw' the funeral and his family knocking at my door to break the news. I was 'awoken' by my boss asking me to take dictation. When I said what I had 'seen' he laughed saying "It can't happen; your husband is at the University today doing ". The time was 3 p.m.

When I returned home I said nothing to my husband about my vision, but the house was filled with and an inexplicable smell of flowers. There was a knock at the door. It was his brothers and sister with some terrible news to tell us: their brother had been killed at the steel works at 3 p.m. that day. The manner of his death was exactly as I had seen in my day dream. To be honest, I was relieved that it wasn't my husband.

Often waking psychic experiences happen when our mind is in a reverie or day dream state.

It maybe that psychic perception comes through the subconscious which, of course, is active during sleep or day dreaming. You, like some other readers who we've published, saw an event taking place by clairvoyant remote viewing.

Your subconscious 'saw' what was happening but your conscious mind assumed that it was your husband.

DREAMING AND REMOTE VIEWING

While sightseeing in Russia fourteen years ago, I came across a large ornamental monument in a public garden. As soon as I set eyes on it I had a strange feeling that I had seen it before. I stood for some time before I remembered.

I had dreamed about it , in every detail: The black and white marble squares, the little arched wooden door at the top flanked by two colourful dragons that spouted water from their mouths to the row of white marble statues on either side of the monument.

In my dream I slid down the tiles and past the dragons.Had I lived there in a past life and slid down it as a child? How could I have dreamt of such detail of a place where I have never been before?

There are two answers to your question. Certainly reincarnation is a logical explanation. Controlled experiments using hypnotic regression have posed some interesting questions. When in trance, ordinary people have described past lives and told of their previous names and details about where they believed they once lived. Many of the factual details can be traced back through very old records to which the subject could never have gained access. In some cases, the subjects have correctly spoken obscure, ancient languages. Perhaps your experience was also a similar recall of a past life.

Another possible explanation is that you gained a foresight through extra sensory perception. Psychics have been known to to describe distant scenes and events through a facility known as 'Remote Viewing'. Indeed, it has been claimed, that , during the Cold War, the Russian authorities employed psychics to spy on the White House. Perhaps you could have got a job while you were there?

PSYCHIC MARCHING ORDERS

It was pitch black as we moved off into the hills during our rigorous army exercise during WW2. We marched for about 3 hours then took shelter in a dip and waited for dawn.

We had no idea where we were as we had no map or compass. At first light I spoke to the N.C.O. of our section "When you get to the top of this rise, you will see a forked pathway."

I said convincingly "On your left you will see a look out post on a hill. Go behind the look out take a right fork and the path will take us directly to our objective, the castle."
