DEAD RINGER
 My husband had a great sense of humour. I was heartbroken when he went out one night in extremely good spirits but never returned home. He dropped dead with a massive heart attack. Just before he left the house, he’d been bemoaning the fact that his daughter had just had her nose pierced. Apparently, he made it plain to her that he did not approve. Just after his death, I was glancing at our wedding photography and could not believe my eyes. Just under my husband’s nose, there was a small gold earring! I had to look again and again, just to ensure that I was not seeing things. My friend confirmed that I was not going crazy and yes, there was definitely an earring in the photograph.

  Circular stains from development fluid often appear on photographs. However, the fact that it appeared exactly on your husband’s nose is quite a coincidence in the light of his passing words.
