SHATTERED DREAMS
I have recently experienced a very strange coincidence. I had a dream that I coughed up a single broken piece of glass. In the same dream, I saw my best friend who is now living in Japan. “That’s a dangerous thing to do,” she said.
Later when we spoke on the telephone, I told her about my dream. She told me that she had just had a similar dream. She dreamed about she was looking for a fragment of glass that was missing from a glass vase.
I have tried all the books but cannot find the meaning of this dream. We live thousands of miles apart yet somehow our dreams are connected. Can you explain what the dream means?

Your dreams are a symbol of your friendship. Your friend in Japan feels that something is missing in her life. It is like having a perfect vase with a piece missing. That missing piece is you. Similarly, you feel pain at the loss of your friend- the glass is in your mouth.
The remarkable thing about these dreams is that you have more or less shared the same dream even though there is a huge distance between you.
It is likely that you have had a telepathic communication between you. You have met in your dreams and with the language of symbols described how much you miss each other. |
